Walled In

WALLED IN 九龙围墙 is a top down, melee-focused top-down action game inspired by the Hotline Miami duology, set in the suffocating urbanity of Kowloon Walled City. In the twilight of 1989, the fragile balance between order and chaos in Kowloon Walled City, has started to crumble. With pressures mounting for a full scale redevelopment of the vertical sprawl, a citywide crime cleanup is beginning to rear its head.

Gameplay is quick-paced, snappy, and visceral. From building combo meters, handling limited health, and understanding combat/enemy systems, Walled In rewards quick decision making and maestros of violence.

Shum is an unlicensed dentist who is unwillingly thrown into the triad underworld. Sim is a triad heiress vying to reclaim her father’s fallen empire. Their stories are linked through a perpetual cycle of life and death. When one dies, the other steps take their place in the living realm.
